DeMarquis Epps is an educator, entrepreneur, author, motivational speaker, world and national rope skipping champion and the founder of I Jump Publications. For more than two decades, he has dedicated his life to inspiring children through the power of jump rope, physical fitness, and positive character development.  Having taught rope skipping in more than 15 countries, DeMarquis has witnessed firsthand how movement can unite children across cultures, build confidence, develop discipline, and create lifelong healthy habits. His passion extends beyond athletics—he believes that every jump is an opportunity to learn, grow, and become a better person.  As a strong advocate for literacy, DeMarquis believes that reading opens doors to endless possibilities. Through his I Jump book series, he combines rhythm, movement, vocabulary, comprehension, critical thinking, and positive life lessons to help children develop strong reading skills while building character. His stories encourage young readers to be honest, kind, respectful, courageous, and full of integrity.  DeMarquis believes that when children strengthen both their minds and their bodies, they become confident leaders who can positively impact their families, schools, and communities. His mission is to inspire children around the world to read with purpose, move with confidence, and live with integrity—one jump at a time.
